Anson County Partnership for Children is pleased to announce the 5th annual Barn Blast fundraising event to be held on Friday, January 28, 2011. For the first time, it will be held in the Ingram Banquet Room at the Lockhart-Taylor Center-SPCC in Wadesboro. Please mark your calendars for this special event as we raise money for literacy projects in Anson County. Last year over 200 guests from Anson and surrounding counties helped to raise over $27,000 to support literacy projects including Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Motheread, Reading is Fundamental and Raising a Reader.
Barn Blast will feature a western theme, a delicious dinner, an open bar of beer and wine, silent auctions, a live auction, dancing and lots of fun. You can purchase tickets for $35 in advance through this website by clicking registration in the toolbar to the left or at the Partnership office located at 117 South Greene Street in Wadesboro. Tickets will be $45 at the door.
Barn Blast is also a great way to advertise your business. Whether making a monetary donation through a sponsorship or an item donation for the auctions, your business will be featured in a variety of ways prior to and during the event.
