The Anson County Partnership for Children will host its 8^th annual Barn Blast fundraising event, presented by Anson Bank and Trust, and Poisson Law, on Friday, January 31, 2014, from 6:00 to 11:30 pm in the Ingram Room at SPCC’s Lockhart Taylor Center in Wadesboro. Proceeds from the 2014 Barn Blast will benefit children’s literacy activities in Anson County including the following: Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Books for Kids, Raising A Reader, Motheread, and Reach Out and Read. Each year the western-themed event features: a delicious dinner an open bar of beer and wine, music, silent and live auctions, and lots of dancing and fun.
